Whether you have an hour or it’s your life’s ambition to volunteer, we need you! Volunteers are the foundation of our organization. You support our governance and leadership, to deliver programs and services, raise funds and awareness. We have volunteer positions for those interested in fundraising, mentoring, providing individual support (for all ages), presenting events, and being on our board, If you want to help, we want you on our team.

    Become a Member of Hydrocephalus Canada

    When you join Hydrocephalus Canada, you become part of a family united by a common cause. Membership is available to youth, adults, parents or families of individuals living with hydrocephalus and/or spina bifida anywhere in Canada. Membership is also open to professionals in the healthcare, education and social services field.

    • Complimentary publications and information sheets that provide the latest information about hydrocephalus and spina bifida as well as current events happening in your community
    • Support for parents, adults and youth is available through our toll-free help line and on-line community forum
    • Opportunity to have your say and vote at the Annual General Meeting or become a member of the Board of Directors
    • Scholarships and bursaries that are available for students of any age with hydrocephalus and/or spina bifida
